The man was arrested and charged. A preventive measure was applied to him in the form of police supervision with a ban on contact with the victim and an order to keep him away.
– The suspect did not admit to committing the crime he was charged with, but at the same time noted that on the night of August 16-17, 2024, he was under the influence of amphetamine and alcohol. He explained that due to his drunken state, he remembered only fragments of the incident related to the injured party. He assured her that he did not intend to hurt or intimidate her, the spokesman said.
In the conclusion of the forensic and psychological examination and psychology assigned to the case, it was said that when committing the alleged crime, the suspect “lost the ability to understand the meaning of his actions and guide his actions.”

The district court will decide on the further fate of the suspect. The suspect is a 25-year-old student and works as an office worker. He has not been convicted yet.
