On Tuesday, the Center for Public Opinion Research (CBOS) published the next edition of the election poll, which simulated a scenario in which Civil Alliance candidate and Warsaw mayor Rafal Trzaszkowski and PiS candidate, president of the Institute of National Memory, Karol Nawrocki in the second round of next year's presidential election. they will face each other.
According to a poll conducted from December 2 to 4, in such a scenario, Trzaskovsky can count on 46 percent. 34 percent supported Nawrocki. 17 percent of the respondents stated that they would not vote for both candidates, and 3 percent could not answer who they would vote for.

The difference between the candidates is smaller than in the previous poll from November 18 to 20, which took into account the same scenario of the second round of the elections. Then Trzaskovsky received 50 percent of votes. supported, Nawrocki accounted for 24 percent. 18 percent then announced that they do not support any of them, 8 percent. were restless.
Party requirements of voters
The CBOS survey also took into account respondents' partisan preferences. Rafal Trzaskovsky enjoys the support of almost all voters – 98%. voters of the civil coalition and Navrotsky – both 98 percent. – PiS voters. Among the voters of the Confederation, 50 percent supported Nawrocki in the second round and 8 percent Trzaskovsky, and 40 percent did not vote for either of these two candidates, 2 percent. “It's hard to say,” he answered.

When it comes to voters with undecided party preferences, 45 percent favored Trzaszkowski in the second round, compared to 23 percent for Nawrocki. 17 percent have no opinion on this.
The survey was conducted using telephone interviews (62.8%) and online interviews (37.2%) in the period from December 2 to 4, 2024, among 1,000 older residents of Poland.
