– This oldest story about European integration was a story about a process that was supposed to bring peace and prosperity to the continent. These were the two main reasons. This was characteristic of the 50s and 60s, said prof. Anna Paczesniak from the University of Wroclaw. Poland has been a member of the European Union for 20 years, but recently more and more questions are being asked about why such a Community was created and what it serves in times of war and turmoil. There is no need to fight for us, and economic changes should be for the better. There is competition, but it is focused on cooperation.
