Officers are working to determine the whereabouts of Marcin Romanovsky. On Tuesday, the police received documents on the temporary detention order. The National Prosecutor's Office accuses Romanovsky of 11 crimes, including participation in an organized criminal group and competition for money from the Justice Fund.

This case was explained on TV “Kropka nad i” on TVN24 by MP Michal Wojcik, Acting Vice-President of PiS, former Deputy Minister of Justice and MP Barbara Dolniak from Nowočesna, Civic Alliance Club.
– I don't know where Minister Romanovsky is. I had a chance to talk to him a few days ago, but I haven't talked to him yet, and I know that the police are looking for him in different places – said Wojcik.
– I read in one of the media that this is civil disobedience. The media wrote and I said that I can understand him in the situation he is in. And I am also referring to the event of a few years ago, when the women's march was held, for example, after the ruling of the Constitutional Court (from 2020 on the abortion law – ed.), when politicians were competing with us, saying that this is a It was a women's march. an act of civil disobedience, continued Wojcik.
“If this is civil disobedience, I can understand it,” he added.
Dolniak: Romanowski's cover-up only proves one thing
Barbara Dolniak explained Wojcik's words.
– What kind of civil disobedience are we talking about here, if the court, if the judge has issued an order for temporary detention? If Mr. Romanovsky believes that he is innocent and unjustly arrested and will appeal the court's decision, how can he hide? she asked.
In her opinion, the former deputy minister of justice “should come to this detention center, be imprisoned, appeal the court's verdict and not hide.” – Hiding him proves only one thing: the court made the right decision, because Mr. Romanovsky is obstructing the criminal case, – he said.
“We will see what the decision of the National Election Commission will be.”
The guests of the program also commented on the unrecognized decision of the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs of the Supreme Court, which on Wednesday accepted PiS's appeal against the decision of the National Electoral Commission to reject the report of the party's electoral committee for the 2023 elections. .
– We will see what the decision of the National Election Commission will be. But remember that not long ago, the National Election Commission submitted an application to the Supreme Court, to the Extraordinary Chamber, to remove all the judges of this chamber, – said Dolniak.
