Bodnar was asked on Wednesday's Polsat News about prosecutor Wrzosek's comments criticizing him, and on Tuesday night's TVP Info he said in particular that Roman Giertych would be a better justice minister.
– I received this with some surprise, especially since Prosecutor Eva Urzosek had decided a month ago to accept the offer of a delegation to the Ministry of Justice. He is currently working as a prosecutor in the district attorney's office under contract from the Department of Justice,” Bodnar answered.

It was Bodnar who convinced Wrzosek to stay with the prosecutor's office.
The decision to delegate Prosecutor Urzosek to the Ministry of Justice was made in October 2024 after she withdrew her application to retire as prosecutor. Bodnar later met with prosecutors and urged him to withdraw his resignation. Harassment, the 'chilling effect' and fear of surveillance
In January 2021, Mr. Urzosek was one of several prosecutors delegated by his superiors to work remotely. The prosecutor was sent to work in Shurem, 310 kilometers from the capital.
These decisions sparked opposition from some in the legal community. According to some associations of judges and prosecutors, the delegation was intended to have a “chilling effect” and was repressive in nature. According to prosecutor Urzosek, sending her to a distant prosecutor's office was an attempt to silence and harass her in connection with the opening of an investigation into the organization of postal elections.
