“I do not know whether the dismissal was the result of consideration of the application I submitted to resign from my delegated duties or whether it was a completely separate decision of the Minister of Justice and the Attorney General,” the prosecutor added.

– Maybe I'm a little old-fashioned, but I believe that there are principles like loyalty in various business relationships. And loyalty to me means that if I have any reservations, I first convey them to my superiors, the Minister of Justice added.
The head of the Ministry of Justice was asked whether Prosecutor Urzosek would face any consequences as a result of this, including removal from the delegation to the Ministry of Justice. – I think that in this situation, prosecutor Wrzosek himself has to make a decision. The decision to delegate Prosecutor Urzosek to the Ministry of Justice was made in October 2024 after she withdrew her application to retire as prosecutor. Bodnar later met with prosecutors and urged him to withdraw his resignation.
