The Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Relations of the Supreme Court accepted the appeal of PiS against the decision of the National Electoral Commission to reject the party's financial report for the parliamentary elections. Prosecutor Eva Vrzosek was released from her delegation in the Ministry of Justice and the National Council of Prosecutors. The police are looking for Marcin Romanovsky in connection with the court order for his arrest. Here are five things to know on Thursday, December 12.
1. The unrecognized chamber of the Supreme Court decided on the PiS subsidy
The Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Relations of the Supreme Court accepted PiS's appeal against the National Election Commission's decision to reject the party's financial report for the parliamentary elections.
This Chamber is questioned by a part of the European legal community and tribunals. Earlier, the National Electoral Commission had sent a request for the removal of the judges ruling the case, which was rejected.
2. Prosecutor Vrzosek was dismissed from the delegation
“Today I was removed from my position at the Ministry of Justice and the National Council of Prosecutors under the Attorney General,” said prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek. He added that it was Adam Bodnar's decision.
In an interview with tvn24.pl, the spokeswoman of the Attorney General, Anna Adamiak, explained that the minister agreed to the dismissal of the delegation, which was submitted by Wrzosek himself.

3. The police are looking for Romanovsky
Officers are working to determine the whereabouts of Marcin Romanovsky. On Tuesday, the police received documents on the temporary detention order.
– I don't know where Minister Romanovsky is. If this is civil disobedience, I can understand it – MP Michal Wojcik from the PiS club said in “Kropka nad i” on TVN24. – Hiding it only proves one thing: the court made the right decision, – stated deputy Barbara Dolniak (Civil Alliance).

4. World Cup for Saudi Arabia
Spain, Portugal and Morocco in 2030 and Saudi Arabia four years later – the extraordinary congress of the International Football Federation (FIFA) confirmed previous agreements on the organization of the next two editions of the World Cup.

5. Tusk about expanding the list of strategic companies
“We will complete the list of strategic companies to be protected,” Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference. – We want to protect our country and the European Union from interference in election processes, attempts to take over or interfere with the work of our media, – he explained.
