Andrew, Duke of York, is once again in a crisis that threatens to damage the entire royal family. It turns out he was friends with a man nicknamed H6, who was a Chinese spy. The Crown Prince's office said, “Although the Prince met officially, he did not discuss any sensitive matters.''
The 50-year-old entrepreneur, known only as H6, has been banned from entering the UK on suspicion of potentially posing a threat to national security. This decision upholds the 2023 ruling.
According to British media outlets such as The Times, the 50-year-old is said to have become friends with Prince Andrew, who gives him access to many important places in the royal family. The man visited Buckingham Palace and St. Patrick's Palace twice. James Castle and Windsor Castle.

It is unclear when and how H6 began dating the prince. It is known that in 2020, she was invited to Andrew's birthday party. In November 2021, a 50-year-old man was detained and interrogated on suspicion of being a spy.
British counterintelligence officials suspect that H6 worked for the United Front Labor Bureau, an arm of the Chinese Communist Party.

During the arrest, H6 was found in possession of numerous electronic devices, including a cell phone. In 2023, former Home Secretary Suella Braverman banned H6s from entering the UK.
The Immigration Tribunal found that H6 had an “extraordinary level of trust from senior members of the Royal Family who were willing to enter into business relationships with him”.

The judge added that the relationship developed at a time when the prince was “under considerable pressure” which “could make him vulnerable to this type of abuse of influence”. At the time, Prince Andrew was under fire following revelations about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein and accusations of racism and sexual assault. He withdrew from public life in 2019.
The businessman “was able to establish relationships between senior Chinese government officials and prominent British figures that could be exploited for purposes of political interference by the Chinese state,” the Immigration Court said.

The statement also stressed that the Duke of York had only formally met H6 and that “they have never discussed anything sensitive.”
Suella Braverman has now asked H6 to lose its anonymity, telling the Daily Telegraph: “Revealing this person's identity will have a deterrent effect.”
