Drivers were stuck in traffic for hours trying to get out of the store's parking lot. The authorities of the gallery published a statement about this.
Up to four hours – that's how long it took drivers trying to get out of the Galeria Młociny parking lot in Warsaw's Belany district on Saturday afternoon and evening. Not only the parking lot itself, but also the surrounding area of the shopping center has been paralyzed, where people have been waiting for a long time in traffic jams.

The main problem was Zgrupowania AK “Kampinos” street, which runs next to the gallery and the area around the intersection of this street with Ksiat Mazowieckič street.

The authorities of the shopping center released a statement about this. “We inform you that traffic jams in the area of Galeria Mlocini and parking exits are caused by the introduction of a new traffic organization by ZDM and especially the activation of traffic lights on Ksiet Mazowiecki Street. Galeria Młociny authorities also said in their entry that they “have contacted the relevant municipal units to jointly find better solutions – such as diverting traffic to alternative routes or adjusting the traffic lights accordingly in order to reduce congestion.”
The statement added: “Security in our parking lot is working to improve traffic flow and facilitate entry and exit to the mall.”

Representatives of the shopping center also informed that due to the fact that many drivers decided to leave their cars at night, the parking lot will be opened on Sunday from 6:00 (Sunday will be commercial). On Saturdays, it closes at midnight, two hours after the shops close.
Customers are angry about the situation. One customer wrote in a comment under the gallery entry that he only walked about a meter in 20 minutes in traffic. “We are stuck in the parking lot! Nothing changes for another hour. We are standing in the same places. It is hard to believe that the change in the organization of traffic will cause the car to stay in motion for 3 hours,” explained another.
