Early on Sunday morning, a tourist bus carrying 50 passengers fell into a ditch in the town of Wołosate in Podkarpacie.
Officers received the call on Sunday, Ewelina Rona of the Podkarpacie Police Department reported in an interview with Polsatnews.pl. 7:30.
– According to the preliminary findings of the police, it was found that the bus, which was traveling on provincial road No. 897 in Ustřiki Gorne, veered off the road and overturned to the left, a female police officer explained.
Com. Wona added that the driver was sober. “The details and circumstances of this incident will be investigated by police,” she said. The cause of the accident is not yet known.

– Firefighters found the bus lying in a ditch. They will help the injured escape and provide support, he added. He also said 19 people needed help, not the 18 previously reported.
