The President blocked the path of Mrs. Maja Vloschovska, – said the Minister of Sports Slavomir Nitras in “Facti po factach”. In this way, he referred to Duda's recommendation as a member of the International Olympic Committee.
On Thursday, the Polish Olympic Committee adopted a resolution recommending President Andrzej Duda to become a member of the International Olympic Committee. The IOC currently has 111 members, up from a maximum of 115.
Currently, Poland's representative in the IOC is the Polish Olympic medalist Maja Wloszowska, who will work in the IOC Athletes' Commission from 2021, and in this context has the status of an IOC member.

Nitras: President Piesiewicz responds to President Duda
These news were explained by the Minister of Sports Slavomir Nitras (KO) in “Facti po Factach”. – President Duda is suitable to be a member of the International Olympic Committee, just as Mr. (Radoslav) Pieszewicz is suitable to be the president of the Polish Olympic Committee. Polish sports, the Polish Olympic Committee were PiS activists. Some of them have already fled, (…) and some are protecting themselves by any excuse, Nitras said.
– Mr. Pieszewicz became the president of the Polish Olympic Committee only because Mr. (Jacek) Sasin and President (Andrzej) Duda helped him. (…) Today, President Piešević is responding to President Duda, who – as can be seen from the statements of his colleagues this morning – does not even know who he will be elected. They say that there is a refusal to become an honorary member after the Polish Olympic Committee. To become an honorary member of the IOC, you must have been a member of the IOC for many years. And Mr. President may not be a member of KBO yet, so he cannot immediately become an honorary member, he said.
The guest of “Facti po factach” believes that “the president really put himself in a ridiculous situation and it will end in tragedy.” – He stood in the way of Mrs. Maia Vloshchovska, who has been continuously climbing the career ladder in this international organization for years. At some point, he will actually become a full member representing Poland permanently, Nitras said.

According to him, the president should abandon this recommendation. – This is the only honorable way. Nitras says the president should also apologize to Mrs. Maja Wloszowska.
Nitras: I know that Mr. Piesiewicz lies in public
Nitras, when asked whether he knows everything about the activity of Radosław Pieszewicz in the Polish Olympic Committee, for example, about his income and whether all investigations (in the case of the head of the Polish Olympic Committee – ed.) have been completed, answered that “she. knows everything.” – Tests are not for me to understand anything. Tests for people to know. Control is by the investigation commission, control by President Trzaskovsky, control by the Supreme Control Office – Nitras. He said he “knew a lot.”
– For example, I know that Mr. Pieshevic lies, he lies in front of me. Unfortunately, he employed a lot of journalists, because Mr. Piešević earns a salary of one hundred thousand zlotys a month. One hundred thousand zlotys per month, not 30 thousand, which he is talking about, – said the Minister of Sports.
– Within a year and a half, Mr. Pieszewicz received five or six times more income from the Polish Olympic Committee than he paid for the Olympic gold medal, – explained Nitras.

He mentioned that Aleksandra Miroslav received PLN 250,000 for the gold medal in Paris. – And Mr. Piesevich received about one and a half million soums for one and a half years, – said the Minister of Sports. He added again that he “knows everything”. – The point is that the institutions must confirm this. And I call on the Supreme Investigation Department, the investigation commission of the PCC to officially reveal these surprising facts, – said the interviewee of “Facti po factach”.
– Mr. Trzaskovsky, at the same time, as a supervisory body, stated that the method of approving money for the board members – and I emphasize: before that, the members of the PKOY board were never paid, they did it on their own. the reason is illegal, and he called on the Polish Olympic Committee to return this money, said the guest.
– I think that society has the right to know these facts, not only me, – said Nitras.

Slavomir Nitras was also asked what he thinks about Rafal Trzaskovsky's opponents in the presidential race. – Of course, he has very demanding competitors. This will be a very long and difficult campaign, the minister said.
He said about Trzaszkowski that “he is not a person that the presidents of European countries or the president of the United States should know.” – President Rafal Trzaskovsky studied in the USA and France. He worked for many years in European institutions. In fact, he is not only the mayor of Warsaw, but also the head of presidents, mayors and cities of Europe – he said.
