The topic of the new Oleshnik missile, which was recently equipped to the Russian military, was brought up at President Vladimir Putin's press conference entitled “Achievements of the Year.”
The Russian president was asked by a journalist how he would respond to comments by European military experts who questioned the modernity of Oleshnik and stressed that missiles of this type can be eliminated by anti-missile systems used by NATO countries. I was disappointed.
