An ambulance helicopter hit the hospital and fell to the ground. Four people died. The tragedy happened on Sunday in the south-west of Turkey.
The Reuters news agency, referring to the statement of the Ministry of Health of Turkey, reports that the helicopter took off from the Mugla Teaching and Research Hospital with two pilots, a doctor and a medical worker. The people who were in the car did not survive.
Idris Akbiyik, the governor of Mugla region, told reporters that the helicopter crashed while taking off from the helipad. The car first hit the fourth floor of the hospital building and then hit the ground. No one was injured in the building or on the ground. The causes of the accident, which occurred in thick fog, are being investigated.
