A massive fire has destroyed around 800 square meters of a Russian shopping center in North Ossetia, TASS said. The fire was the result of a gas explosion that occurred on Christmas morning. At least one person was killed and two others injured in the incident.
An explosion and fire broke out at Alania Mall in Vladikavkaz, the capital of Russia's North Ossetia region, emergency officials told Russia's state-run TASS news agency.
According to the latest data, one woman died in the incident.

According to rescue teams, authorities reported that the cause of the incident was a gas explosion in the utility room.
