Police officers from Pażecno (Łódź Voivodeship) arrested a 42-year-old man who is suspected of robbing a bank branch in Nowa Brzeznica. The criminal terrorized his employees with a gun and stole PLN 50,000. According to the court’s verdict, this man, who has been tried many times before, was arrested. He faces up to 20 years in prison.
The incident happened on December 18 at around 11:20 a.m. at the bank’s branch in Nova Brzeznica, Pajčeno district. A man came in and asked for money. When he got it, he left. The police started looking for the criminal.

The man escaped with cash. – On Monday, until 6 o’clock in the morning, Pajczyzno investigators, in cooperation with the police officers of the criminal department of the Łódź regional police headquarters and the independent anti-terrorist unit of the Łódź police, arrested a 42-year-old man in the city of Łódź. Piotrkov district. The weapon he used in the attack was recovered from the suspect’s residence. It was sent for ballistic tests. According to this police woman, during the search of the building, the police also found some of the stolen money.
