The widow of Alexei Navalny has asked the Russian authorities to remove her late husband from the Kremlin’s list of terrorists. He received a rejection letter. “Putin is afraid of Alexei, even after he was killed,” explained Yulia Navalnaya.
Yulia Navalnana has released a letter from Rosfinmonitornig, Russia’s anti-money laundering and terrorist financing agency, in response to her request to remove her husband Alexei from the list of “terrorists”.
The widow of the opposition emphasized that according to the law on the financing of terrorism, the death of a person should lead to the removal of his name from the Kremlin’s “black list” without any conditions.

Meanwhile, “Rosfinmonitornig” justified the refusal by the fact that they did not receive information about the termination of the criminal case against Navalny.
“Putin is afraid of Alexei, even after he was killed,” Navalny, who is also on the Kremlin’s terrorist list, said.
Death of the opposition
On February 16, 2024, Russian authorities announced the sudden death of Navalny, the Kremlin’s most prominent political opponent. Navalny, who criticized Putin’s regime for abuse of power and corruption, is said to have died under mysterious circumstances in a labor camp above the Arctic Circle, where he was serving 19 years in prison and was facing up to 30 years in prison.
Prominent colleagues of the opposition already suspected that he was killed or poisoned on behalf of the Kremlin authorities.
