After the modernization, the Western railway station will be like this
In connection with the reconstruction works of Zachodnya station in Warsaw, on two consecutive holidays – January 11-12 and January 18-19, the movement of trains will be restricted on the MIA railway line and a special schedule will be introduced, – reported the Warsaw city railway.
“On the weekends of January 11-12 and 18-19, work will be carried out on the WKD area No. 1 at the Warsaw Zachodnia station. Traffic will continue on the Warsaw Aleje Jerzolimskie – Warsaw Shrodmiescie section in both directions only on one road”, – confirmed by the Department of Transport.
Some WKD trains only arrive at Warszawa Al station. Jerusalem. ZTM therefore introduces the acceptance of all regular and low-cost WKD tickets as well as free travel rights on WKD trains (Vukadka with Mazowsza ticket, PKP IC color cards).
Getting a shared ticket
Shared honor applies to selected sections of some lines: 127, 517, N35, N85 – in the section PKP WKD Al. Yerosolimskie – the central station; 717 – in the sector of PKP WKD Al. Ierozolimskie – Dv. 158 – in CH Reduta section – Dv. 178 – in the section PKP WKD Al. Yerosolimskie – Siberian exile circuit; 187 – in the section of PKP WKD Al. Yerosolimskie – Wawelska; 191 – in the PKV section of the MIA Al. Jerozolimskie – p. Narutovitch; S1 – in the section Warsaw Zahodnya – Warsaw Shrodmieście; S2 – in the Warsaw section of Al. Erozolimskie – Warsaw Shrodmiescie; S3 – in the Warsaw part of Al. Jerozolimskie – Warszawa Centralna, 1 – in the section of Warsaw War 1920 – pl. Zawisza and 7, 9 in the part of the battle of Warsaw 1920 – Central station.
Single WKD tickets must be pre-validated on the WKD train/mobile vehicle or activated on the WKD mobile app or online ticketing system. If the passenger starts the journey in the ZTM vehicle, he must manually validate the ticket in advance, that is, enter the date, hour and minute of the start of the journey in the space provided for printing the validator. This should be done permanently (eg with a pen) in the format gg.mm.yyyy, hh:mm.
