The next few days will be a rest for us after the snow and extreme weather that Charlie brought to Poland. Thermometers show positive values again, and fog is falling in some places. However, before that, we will transfer another part of the snow.
tvnmeteo.pl meteorologist Arleta Unton-Piziolek said that the weather in Poland is still affected by the snowy Charlie Valley, which is centered near the country’s eastern border. The vortex is channeling cold, moist Arctic air into our regions, which are covered by clouds full of wet snow. Precipitation occurs in the atmospheric snow front, which extends in the form of a spiral from the Carpathians and Sudetes, over the Baltic Sea to the Gulf of Finland.
Only on Sunday night, this area will become unclear to Dushanbe and at the same time it will go beyond the eastern borders of Poland. Pressure builds rapidly and Bite Hai takes over the air, its center moving from France towards Germany and then the Balkans. A slow-moving warm front will move into an area of high pressure, bringing snow, rain and sleet on Tuesday and Wednesday. Warmer air will flow from the west, creating a dark aura and fog, and the snow will melt.
Weather for Sunday
On Sunday, the weather is cloudy almost all over the country. The weather will be clear only in the north-western districts, and there is no chance of rain. Sometimes up to 2-5 centimeters of snow falls in other regions of Poland, more in the south-east. In Carpathia, it can fall up to 10 cm. Thermometers in Suwalki and Lublin regions show -1 degree of cold, in the center of Poland up to 0-1 degree, in Pomerania up to 2-3 degree of heat. The wind is moderate and very strong from the north-west, and its intensity reaches 50-60 kilometers per hour.
