On Sunday morning, local services reported that at least six people were killed and eight injured in a fire in a restaurant in Most in northern Bohemia. Most likely, the cylinders of the gas heaters have exploded.
Ten ambulance teams and crews of several fire engines intervened at the scene of the fire. A helicopter was brought in to transport the injured.
Firefighters and police confirmed the death of six people. Eight people were injured. Five of them were transferred to a special burn treatment clinic in Prague. About 30 people were evacuated from the “Kojot” restaurant. Residents of neighboring properties were also evacuated as a precaution.

According to the first information of witnesses, gas cylinders exploded in the building. Most likely, those that exploded from special gas heaters. Police and firefighters are primarily investigating this version of events. However, they do not exclude other tragic situations. During the day, Czech Interior Minister Vit Rakuszan is scheduled to arrive there.
