Actor Stanislav Brudny died

Stanisław Brudny, a theater, film and dubbing actor who was associated with the Warsaw Studio Theater for many years, died at the age of 94. He played more than 600 roles in his career.
The Studio Theater and the Silesian Theater reported on the death of the actor.
“It is with great sadness that we received the news of the death of our Stanislav Brudniy. At the age of 94, a man who entered the history of STUDIA forever passed away. It is difficult to express our pain and feelings of loss in words. Greetings, Stasiu, you you will forever remain in our hearts and memories as an example of an artist and a human being,” we read in the farewell message on the Studio Theater’s social networks.
He has been associated with the Studio Theater since the 1970s
Stanislav Brudny was born on May 16, 1930 in Pilsen. In 1953, he graduated from the theater acting school of Silesia. Stanislaw Wispianski was an actor in Katowice, where he spent more than 20 years, from 1951 to 1972. His work in the Silesian theater was the beginning of an artistic path that became rich and varied over time.
Since 1972, Stanislav Brudny has been associated with the Studio Theater. Stanislav Ignasi Witkiewicz in Warsaw. He performed in more than 160 productions with famous directors such as: Gustaf Holubek, Jerzy Jarocki, Jerzy Kreczmar (of whom he was also their assistant), Lydia Zamkow, Józef Shayna, Jerzy Grzegorzewski, Tadeusz Lomnicki, Tadeusz Lomnicki, Agnieszka Glinska. and Christina Janda.
In 1971, in Katowice, Stanislav Brudny received the Silver Mask, an award for outstanding acting achievements. In 2008, the actor won an award for the role of Joshua Carville in the radio play “Tomorrow” based on the drama of Joseph Conrad. The play, directed by Julia Vernio, was presented by Polish Radio Program I and won Brudny an award for Best Actor.
More than 600 roles under his belt. “A lifetime on the run”
In December 2009, the artist was awarded the prestigious Splendor Splendorow award by the Polish Radio Theater Artistic Group. This distinction is the highest form of recognition for creators associated with radio theater.
“During his life, he played more than six hundred roles in theater, film, radio and television. Until recently, we could appreciate him in the hits “Akademiya pana Kleksa” or “Znachor”. In recent years, he was a full-time actor. actor of the Studio Theater, in cooperation with the Jewish Theater, the Municipal Theater in Gliwice and the Polonia Theater, we will miss you not only your acting, but above all your warmth and smile remains”, – it is written in the memory published on the social networks of the Silesian theater.
Stanislav Brudny said in 2019: “I have been on the run all my life; I never hate myself for new things. After the hunger of the war, we became refugees. Everything was a discovery for me – music, theater, cinema and in fact the whole world is shaped like this.” My life, I’m still on the run.
“This child will grow up to be a kind of artist.”
The actor revealed that he has an artistic career planned for him. “When I was a child, there was a gypsy camp near my family’s home in Pilsen Podkarpacie. One day a sexy woman came to us and hugged me. I immediately calmed down. She hugged me and said to my mother: “It seems to be an artist, because it seems beyond people, deep, somewhere far away,” said the actor.
Stanislav Brudny was involved in the life of his hometown – Pilsen. There he built a church with a statue of the saint. Jan Nepomusen was the initiator of the nearby Carolingian festival, the first edition of which was held at Mr. Stanislaw’s property in Pilsen. On October 29, 2024, Stanislav Brudny was awarded with a commemorative medal for the 670th anniversary of the incorporation of the city of Pilsen.
