At Kontakt24 we got a recording showing how cars were turning and going against the flow on the A4 motorway in the Opole area. The reason was the traffic jam after the truck accident.
The recording was sent by Mr Ryzard who was driving on this road – This is an accident on the A4, specifically the Wroclaw to Katowice lane. Check-in is around 3:45 p.m. I drive this road often. Some drivers decided to wait for the service’s instructions to return to the nearest exit, namely Gogolin – Kedzierzyn – Opole, going against the traffic. There was no service on this road, but the police were at the scene of the accident and the traffic jam continued for a good three to four kilometers, he explained. – At the end of the film, you can see that a technical vehicle is leaving, but when I reached the Kedzierzin exit, the possibility of driving there was already closed. It was impossible to enter there, he added.
The accident happened on Tuesday around 14:10 at the 263rd kilometer of the A4 highway towards Katowice. Two trucks collided there.
