Donald Trump found a letter on his president’s desk in front of reporters on Monday. The sender was former President Joe Biden. On Tuesday, the new US president revealed some details of this correspondence.
On Monday evening, a reporter asked Trump if Joe Biden had left a letter for him. – Maybe he did it. “A moment,” answered the American leader, and then he opened his desk drawer. “Oh, here it is,” Trump added, pulling the envelope out of the drawer. When he was asked if he was going to open the envelope, he answered: – Maybe I should read the letter myself first.
The next day, Trump told reporters that he had opened the letter and was considering sharing it publicly. He said Joe Biden advised him to enjoy his term and emphasized the importance of the role.
– This was a very good letter, somewhat encouraging. Enjoy it, do a good job, that’s how important it is, the US president said.
