Grzegorz Brown decided to participate in the presidential elections. For this he was expelled from the Confederation. – What kind of support from the voters can he count on now? – Michal Wroblewski, the narrator of the “Tłit” program on WP, asked his guest, MP Michal Polubocek from the New Hope Confederation, with the following question. – I think it will be 1.5-2 percent. At most, he replied. The host mentioned that there are theories that law and justice politicians, including Marek Kuczynski, encouraged Brown to run for president. How does this benefit law and justice? – Have you heard about such theories? – he asked the guest of the program. – Yes, partially. I think there is something in it. Let’s call it Podkarpacie gossip, because Mr. Kuczynski is from Podkarpacie, Polubocek replied. – No one from PiS has confirmed this yet, but they are surprising because I remember Jarosław Kaczynski in 2022 mentioning Grzegorz Braun and Janusz Korwin-Mikke as people who prevented the Confederation from cooperating with PiS. So, Grzegorz Braun was the person who influenced the possible good relations between PiS and the Confederation – recalled Wroblewski. – But Grzegorz Braun had already signed the support of Mr. Kaczynski before these events. So, Grzegorz Braun is in no way connected with the PiS environment, – replied the representative of the Confederation. – Will Brown’s departure from the Confederacy contribute to the possible cooperation between the current Confederacy and PiS? asked the owner. – I say this, I think that Grzegorz Braun himself joins PiS and somehow wants to turn his support into something. If Korona Polski (Brown’s party – editor’s note) leaves the Confederation, I think they will also fly to PiS with these two MPs. This is not enough to obtain a majority in the Seimas, – noted deputy Michal Polubochek.
