– I think his place is in the detention center, not in Budapest, because I think he is there. I advise and request that the Hungarian justice use all means to track him down and hand him over to us. He has a bad conscience. It is possible that he is behind the fraud of more than 100 million PLN and should be tried by the Polish justice system, said Tomas Trela of the New Left, asking the Hungarians to extradite the PiS MP. Wanted Marcin Romanovski, former Deputy Minister of Justice and PiS politician, is still in Hungary, where he has been granted political asylum. Although Budapest has granted him protection, the European Arrest Warrant (EAW) is still in effect and his case is gaining new momentum. WP reporter Jakub Bujnik asked Tomas Trela from Nova Levica about this. The politician bit his tongue and made it clear that Romanovsky should be brought to Poland as soon as possible. – This is not really a good way for those who have problems with the justice system to escape to Orban and Orban to close for them, because soon Orban will not exist, because there may be many such escapes – assured Trela.
