Drones attacked Moscow. Operations were suspended at three airports.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said drones struck the Russian capital on the night between Thursday and Friday. He said three airports in Moscow had suspended operations.
“The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense (Russian Federation) repelled an attack by a drone flying towards Moscow in the Kolomna and Ramensky districts,” Sobyanin reported on social media.
The Moscow mayor also hinted that two drones were allegedly shot down in the Podolsk region. Additionally, Russian media reported, citing the Federal Air Transport Agency, that operations at Moscow’s Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports had been suspended.

Later, Sobyanin reported that more drones were scheduled to be shot down in Moscow’s Troitsky district and the city’s Shcherkovo district.

There were also reports that operations at Vnukovo Airport had been suspended. The same night, Russian airports resumed operations.
