A spokeswoman for White House Caroline Levitt confirmed three people from the Belarusian prison on Wednesday – one American and two Belarusians without giving details of the surgery.
However, the secrets were abolished by the leader of Belarus’ opposition St. Sichanuska.
In addition to her, the journalist for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) Andrey Kuznechyk has also been released. The released US citizen officials were not made public. All three are Vilinias, the capital of Lithuania.
Belarus released three political prisoners
In a published statement, RFE/RL president Stephen Capus stressed that Wednesday was a “day of joy for Andrei, his wife and two young children.”
“More than three years later, this family is once again thanks to President Trump,” he added.

According to RFE/RL, Kuznetick was initially sentenced to 10 days in prison on charges of holiganism, and then he was charged with a new allegation of creating an extremist group and sentenced to six years.
His lawsuit is recognized as part of a broader campaign of oppression against Belarus’ independent media and civil society groups.
“A great day for the American team”
In an interview with CNN, U.S. Ambassador to Lithuania McDonald defined the release of the three detained by the Belarusian regime as “a great day for the American team, for the president and the secretary of state.”
Next, Chris Smith, assistant assistant to the Secretary of State of Eastern Europe, explains the details of the incident that is talking about “special operation,” during which he and other American officials pass through the Belarus border and meet. I went to Minsk to do so. Local decision – the maker brought in three detainees.”
“They were handed over to us and we brought them to Lithuania,” CNN reported.
Russia released the prisoners. Mark Vogel met with Donald Trump
The release of detainees from Belarus came the day after Russia released American teacher Mark Vogel, who had spent more than three years in prison.
Vogel, 63, was fined 14 years in prison for drug smuggling after being detained at Moscow Airport along with small amounts of marijuana transported for medical purposes. On Tuesday, he flew back to Washington to meet President Donald Trump.

According to American officials, in exchange for his release, the United States is due to send detective Alexander Winnik to Russia. He was arrested in Greece in 2017 on cryptocurrency-related fraud charges before moving to the US and pleading guilty last year.
Authorities said he was in detention in California and was waiting for transport to Russia. The Kremlin confirmed that Russian citizens would be released in exchange for Vogel, but he refused to identify it until he arrived in Russia.
