Swedish Prime Minister Wolf Christerson has announced that local governments are checking reports on the suspension of submarine cables in the Baltic Sea. “For a while I was aware of media reports that could potentially be a new interruption to Baltic cable,” he pointed out on website X.

The event was to take place off the coast of Gotland. The investigation into the case has already been launched by the Swedish prosecutor’s office. The head of Stockholm’s government did not say when the cable was interrupted.
