Interpol has turned to the Polish prosecutor’s office for an application to issue a red memo to former Justice Minister Masin Romanowski – Porsat News has learned. Interpol has asked the Polish prosecutor’s office to supplement Attorney General Marcin Romanowski with his application for issuing Red Note. As added, it is about substantial issues regarding Romanovsky’s legal situation.
As reported, Interpol needs more information on allegations that he will be heard by the Deputy Minister and the conduct he was supposed to commit. The organization also wants to look into whether politicians are using immunity in light of Polish regulations.

The Polish prosecutor’s office accused Romanovsky of committing 11 crimes. It set up competition for organised criminal groups and money from the Judicial Fund, which he overseen as Deputy Minister of Justice from 2019-2023.
The politician was subjected to political asylum in Hungary on December 19th. Because, according to Budapest authorities, he cannot rely on honest trials in his country.

Before acquiring asylum, the Warsaw district court agreed to arrest Romanovsky. He then issued a European arrest warrant at the request of the prosecutor’s office.
Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban suggested that giving Romanovsky asylum in December may not be the last case.
