Nvidia, the chip giant at the heart of the boom of artificial intelligence (AI), said that business remained strong, despite the fears of a bubble stunned by the launch of the Chinese IA company Deepseek on the stage last month.
Sales of the company’s fleas reached more than $ 39 billion (30.7 billion pounds sterling) during the three months closed on January 27, up 74% in annual shift.
Nvidia has seen an increase in demand, while large technological companies turn to the company for fleas that can manage the large amounts of data used to form AI models.
But Deepseek said he had formed his chatbot using less advanced and cheaper chips.
Its launch caused a net sale in Nvidia’s actions at the beginning of the month, a success throughout the market.
Investors calmed down after large companies such as the owner of Facebook Meta said they expected to continue their current AI investment strategies.
The boss of Nvidia, Jensen Huang, said that he was not worried that the demand suddenly changes, saying that software in the future would be created by automatic learning which requires fleas with an architecture different from that of “hand coding” of the past.
“We know that software fundamentally has changed,” he said, adding that it was also “early” for the use of AI to spread.
Nvidia is currently dominating the advanced flea market, which makes it at the heart of the AI investment boom in companies such as Microsoft.
Its shares have increased by more than 400% in the past two years, giving the company a market value of more than 3 TN.
Nvidia said that she was focused on the rapid construction of the production of her latest chips, known as the Blackwell, which has helped to increase the company’s income.
The company’s finance manager, Collette Kress, said that its AI data center activities were the strongest in the United States, but that the company also saw demand increase in other parts of the world, pointing investments by France and the European Union.
She said that demand in China – where American sales checks prevented the company from exporting certain chips – has remained lower and that the company expected the expeditions to be roughly at the current level.
