Two-time Oscar winner, legendary actor and his wife, Arakawa, pianist Arakawa, is dead. They found themselves worried in their residence. “We don’t believe that unintentional behavior is a factor in their deaths,” reported a statement from the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office. The actor was 95 years old and his wife was 63 years old.
Gene Hackman and his spouse are dead – the sheriff of Santa Fe Adan Mendoza said in an interview with the Dailymail portal. The actor’s body and his wife, the classic Betsie Arakawa pianist, was found in their residence. The dead dog was also found on the property.
Officers noted that there was no direct evidence of third party participation. However, the cause of death did not specify or determine exactly when death would occur.
“I don’t think careless behavior is a factor in their deaths,” he added in a statement from the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office.

Eugene Allen Hackman was born on January 30, 1929 in San Bernardino, the family of Eugene Ezra Hackman and Anna Lydia Elizabeth Knee Gray. In 1945 he enlisted in the Maritime Infantry. He completed his communications course and served as a radio operator at US military bases in China, Hawaii and Japan.
In 1951, Hackman ended his service and returned to the United States. In 1956 he moved to California. He was employed at the Pasadena Playhouse Theater and made friends with novice actor Dustin Hoffman. Film historians point out that they are perceived as “weak” and “uncompromising” candidates for actors.

However, it turns out that Hackman became one of the greatest American actors of the 1970s and 1980s. He fell into cinema history thanks to films like “French Connector,” “Conversation,” “The Sparrow’s Fear,” and “No Forgiveness.”
Over his career, which lasted more than 60 years, he won two Oscars (for his roles in “French Connector” and “No Forgiveness”), four Golden Globes, a Guild of Screen Actors Award, two BAFTA Awards and a Silver Bear.
