He later added that this argument is not good on either side and I regret her. However, he wanted peace, noting that it must be durable and just peace. Do you know what the reaction is then? That’s not true for me. The response is, “Where is the friendship between Ukraine and the United States?” – The Ukrainian President said.

– I told them: Please, right. I want to be very kind. (…) When you talk about numbers, each person is important. When we talk about a million losses, when we talk about territory, we don’t have a million losses. These are not territory, they are churches, homes, and human life,” he added.

Referring to the agreement on a collaborative mineral deposits that should be signed during a visit to the White House, Zelasky said this was a great idea, but contrary to what Trump claimed, it is not a security guarantee. He said that when Putin decided to invade in 2022, America’s biggest American company operated in Ukraine, which did not stop Russia from attacking.
When asked if he would agree with Democrats who accused Trump of being “Putin’s Pudel,” Zelasky denied, but admitted that he had spoken to Trump about his relationship with the Russian president.

– Ukrainians want to hear that America is by our side. That’s all, but I’m sure it will happen. This is the first step in security assurance – the Ukrainian leader added. But as he stressed, President Trump sees himself as someone in the middle.
– On the one hand, I understand that I want to find a way to interact with Putin. But he always said, as I remember, “peace through strength,” so that’s why I want America to be strong – he said.

President Zellanki expressed his belief that it could save relations with the United States because it is more than just the relationship between the presidents.
– These are historical relations, strong relations between our nations. And that’s why I always started from gratitude to your country from our country. And this is the most important thing. And of course, I would like to thank the President and of course Congress. But more than anything, in your country. Your country helped save our country – the Ukrainian leader pointed out.
