The Pope spent a quiet night at the hospital – he donated the Vatican at a medical announcement Sunday. On Saturday evening there was a prayer for the health of the Holy Father at St. Peter’s Cathedral. Francis, who had been at Gemera Poli Clinic in Rome since February 14, had a respiratory crisis caused by bronchospasms on Friday.

In 21 St. Peter’s Cathedral, a prayer for the Pope’s health was held on Saturday. It was led by the governor of the DiCastelies for the Eastern Church.
On Sunday, the third time since the beginning of the Pope’s hospitalization will be published with texts of considerations he prepared for Angelus’ South Prayer.

Pope Francis’ condition worsened on Friday evening. At the time, Sacred Shee announced that bronchoconstriction had occurred, leading to an episode of vomiting. He then talked about “sudden deterioration of the respiratory system” and the use of bronchosis and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
The Pope was always conscious and cooperated during the treatment procedure – that was provided in that announcement.

Doctors are still refraining from offering further negotiations. Vatican sources emphasized that the assessment would take 24-48 hours to see if the new respiratory crisis led to a worsening of Francis’ general condition.
The 88-year-old Pope was hospitalized on February 14th with a diagnosis of acute bronchitis. He then discovered bilateral pneumonia, anemia and thrombocytopenia. It turns out that high-flow oxygen therapy and blood transfusions are necessary.
