On Monday, more than five months after the parliamentary elections in Austria, the new prime minister was sworn in. The leader of the Christian stocker of the Austrian People’s Party (OEVP) was the head of the three ruling coalition.

The three-person party coalition has since become factual, and on Monday, the last game of NEOS liberals expressed their consent to create a coalition. In some parts of the party, 94.1% of its participants were in favor of the group joining the new coalition.
The new coalition includes the Austrian People’s Party (OEVP), the Austrian Social Democrats (STED), New Austria and the Liberal Forum (NEO).

According to the coalition agreement released on Friday, the OEVP, Sted and Neos governments will undoubtedly become Europeans. At the same time, the document assumes a deterioration in immigration policy, taking action to reduce the fiscal deficit and improve the housing situation.
The agreement should end the longest awaiting Austrian new government since World War II. The first attempt to create an arbitration coalition with the participation of these three political parties collapsed in January.

The parliamentary election held on September 29, 2024 was won by the Nationalist and Professionals – Russia’s FPOE Party, which won 28.8%. vote. The dominant OEVP (26.3%) came in second, with the next Spoe (21.1%), Neos (9.2%) and Greens (8.3%) coming.
