The Pope’s health remains stable. Improvements have been observed the day before – read in the latest evening press release from the Vatican press. Francis has been arriving at the hospital since February 14th and is suffering from bilateral pneumonia.
The Vatican shows that health stabilization is confirmed by blood test results, clinical evaluation and good response to pharmacological therapy.
“However, given the complexity of the clinical image discovered during hospital admission and the serious infection status, pharmacological therapy should be continued in the hospital’s condition the following day” – read the message.
Pope Francis attended the retreat
On Monday morning, the Vatican reported that the Pope spent a quiet night before continuing his respiratory and physical therapy. The Holy See news outlet emphasized Franciszek’s health is stable and “doctors will encourage prognosis.”
Vatican news outlets also show that Francis Zeck has remotely participated in the retreat of Roman Curia, and are informed of current issues.
