Only 39% of respondents believe that a survey conducted by the Kiev Institute for International Sociology (KMIS) could provide several territory to achieve peace as quickly as possible. More than half of Ukrainians are opposed to concessions.

War in Ukraine. They don’t want to give land
As highlighted, the study was conducted during the rapid deterioration of Ukrainian relations from the US, putting pressure on Kiev in the context of a ceasefire that was assumed in the war with Russia.
KMIS highlighted only 39% respondents believe it is possible to provide some territory to achieve the room as quickly as possible (December 2024, 38%). The other 11% of respondents had no opinion on this issue.

Ukrainians feel threatened. “No concessions”
The overwhelming majority of respondents believe that Russia wants to create a genocide for Ukrainians or destroy the Ukrainian state and state.
The stronger the threat, the more Ukrainians feel, the more opposed to concessions. Among respondents who perceive the threat as existential (i.e. Russia wants to create genocide or destroy the Ukrainian state), 57-58%. I’m opposed to concessions.

However, this percentage is only 20%. The KMIS report highlights the issue among those who believe Russia is not trying to take away more Ukrainian territory.
The survey was conducted through computer-aided telephone interviews between February 14th and March 4th. Residents of the territory, where Russians and Ukrainians stayed abroad, did not participate in the study.
