Retaliation for the American attack. Huti hits US aircraft carriers
Huti Rebels confessed to attacking the American aircraft airline USS Harry S. Truman and the ship that accompanied the Red Sea. As they said, this was a response to previous US raids for Yemeni fighters. Leader Hutich announced that the escalation would continue until Washington halts its attack on the organisation on Saturday.
An insurgent spokesman announced that Hutich forces had fired 18 rockets and one drone at American aircraft airlines and other US fleet vessels north of the Red Sea. Previously, the Pentagon’s chief announced that an attack on Huthi “until he says he won’t shoot a ship in the Red Sea.”
In this way he referred to a series of air-pulsing beatings against targets of the Hutic movement in Yemen. Hegeseth said the launch of the campaign signaled Iran to withdraw its support for Yemeni rebels.
Huti breaks the silence. “We attacked an American aircraft carrier.”
Other key administrative staff, national security adviser Mike Waltz and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, spoke in a similar tone in an interview Sunday. Waltz said on ABC TV that with their attacks on Hutich and the Red Sea region ships, the Trump administration will end with Joe Biden’s approach, consisting of an exact one-time response to their attacks.
