Parents of a nine -year -old boy who were killed by an accidental bullet in Australia were charged with his death.
Paramedical paramedics treated the child for serious neck injuries on a Windellama farm – near Goulburn in South New Wales (NSW) – Sunday, following information reporting a shooting. The boy died on the scene.
Local police have since arrested two people, including a 14 -year -old, and charged them with unauthorized firearm offenses.
An incident survey is underway. We do not know what relationships of the family had with the child.
“It is rare to hear a blow here,” said Ron Wenban, who lives near the farm with his partner, at Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).
“To have a shot like that, it was a concern, none of us wanted to go there.”
Wenban said the family was based in Sydney and bought the property as a holiday home.
The two relatives who were arrested will appear in court in May, the teenager attending the children’s children in South Wales.
The man was accused of having allowed an unauthorized person of having a firearm, as well as not to keep a firearm safely, while the adolescent was accused of unauthorized possession.
The teenager obtained a deposit.
