NFL training camps have officially begun, which means the countdown is on until preparations for the 2024 fantasy football draft begin. If you've been keeping a close eye on the 2024 fantasy football PPR rankings, you probably know who the top fantasy football picks are expected to be in 2024. However, the 2024 fantasy football rankings are changing regularly, with San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey projected to be the No. 1 overall pick at every position. Before the fantasy football 2024 draft countdown begins, it's important to know where to rank each player at each position. If you're looking for 2024 fantasy football advice, be sure to check out SportsLine's 2024 Fantasy Football Cheat Sheet, powered by SportsLine's proven computer model.
Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would not live up to his fantasy football ADP. Waddle's 2023 fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall, making him the 11th-best receiver overall. He recorded a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions and four touchdowns, finishing 34th among fantasy football wide receivers in CBS Sports PPR leagues.
The same model has a proven track record of providing fantasy football tips, identifying AJ Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and accurately predicting Jonathan Taylor's phenomenal season in 2021. Additionally, they have predicted past fantasy football sleepers such as Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Those who bet on these players have gone on to win league titles.
The model is run by the same people who create the projections for the three major fantasy sites, and it beat out human experts last season when there was a huge difference in rankings. Our 2024 Fantasy Football PPR Rankings and 2024 Fantasy Football Standard Projections are updated multiple times each day, so you'll always have the best fantasy football advice and the latest fantasy football tiers.

2024 Fantasy Football QB Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football QB picks for 2024.
1. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Hurts was the QB3 in fantasy football last season and got a big boost with his goal-line rushing ability. He was tied for second in the NFL in rushing touchdowns last season (15), but the tush push at the goal line or in short yardage continues to be one of the most unstoppable plays in football for Philadelphia. The Eagles maintained their top three pass-catching offenses (A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert), so that continuity on offense propels Hurts to the top spot in our model's 2024 fantasy football rankings.
2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Allen has one of the strongest arms in the NFL, and that coupled with his ability to extend drives and score touchdowns has made him an elite fantasy quarterback over the past few seasons. Allen had a career-high 15 rushing touchdowns last year, reclaiming his status as the top scoring quarterback in fantasy football. Allen has finished as QB1 in three of the past four seasons and was QB2 one other year, and should finish at or near the top again this season.
3. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs: Mahomes is coming off a season of leading Kansas City to their second consecutive Super Bowl victory and winning his second MVP award. He was the QB8 in fantasy football last season, snapping a streak of a fantasy football quarterback finishing in the top five three years in a row. Talent-wise, few would argue that Mahomes is the best quarterback in football, and you can't go wrong picking him as your fantasy football quarterback for 2024. See other top QBs here.
2024 Fantasy Football RB Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football running back picks for 2024.
1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: It's his health that has hurt McCaffrey's fantasy value the most in his pro career, missing just one start in his two seasons with San Francisco and resulting in 1,459 yards as the rushing leader in 2023. McCaffrey is expected to have another big year with the 49ers and not be taken early in fantasy football drafts.
2. Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons: Robinson had a strong season last year, but finished 17th among RBs in fantasy points per game as head coach Arthur Smith preferred to hand the ball to Tyler Allgaier. With the Falcons having a new coaching staff, Robinson's workload is expected to increase in 2024, which should make for an even bigger fantasy impact.
3. Breece Hall, New York Jets: Hall's rookie season was marred by a season-ending ACL injury, but he bounced back in a big way in 2023. New York's QB swap allowed the run game to function well, and Hall finished the season averaging 4.5 yards per catch and five touchdowns. He also had 76 receptions, up from just 19 the season before. See the other top running backs here.
2024 Fantasy Football WR Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football WR picks for 2024.
1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: Lamb finished the 2023 season with 135 receptions, 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns, making him the only non-quarterback to score 400-plus fantasy points in CBS Sports PPR leagues. Lamb was especially impressive down the stretch and should get a ton of targets in 2024. The change of offensive coordinator to Brian Schottheimer was huge for Lamb's production last year, and there's no reason to think that won't carry over into 2024.
2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: When the Dolphins acquired Hill in a trade, many fantasy football experts predicted the speedy veteran would underperform. However, that couldn't be further from the truth. The future Hall of Famer recorded over 1,700 yards receiving in two seasons with Miami. Arguably the fastest player in the NFL, Hill is a threat to run for long distances every time he touches the ball.
3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: St. Brown has been proving people wrong since the day he entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick out of USC. In three seasons, St. Brown has totaled 315 receptions, 3,588 yards and 21 touchdowns. He had the best season of his career in 2023 with 119 receptions, 1,515 yards and 10 touchdowns. With tight end Sam LaPorta and running back Jameel Gibbs keeping the defense tight, St. Brown should see a lot of single coverage in 2024. See other top WRs here.
2024 Fantasy Football TE Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three 2024 fantasy football TE picks.
1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: Kansas City's struggles at wide receiver last year affected not only Mahomes but also Kelce. Without a threat out wide, defenses could turn more attention to their future Hall of Fame tight end. With the additions of WRs Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy, that shouldn't be the case in 2024, and Kelce could reclaim his spot as the top fantasy tight end.
2. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: Before breaking his leg in Week 11 last year, Andrews was on pace to record the most touchdowns and second-most receptions and receiving yards in a season, so the Ravens' overhaul of their receivers hasn't diminished the star tight end's production. Andrews has been extremely consistent, finishing in the top five in fantasy points by position every season from 2019-2022.
3. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: LaPorta had a historic first year, setting the NFL rookie record for catches by a tight end (86) and tying the Super Bowl era record for touchdowns by a rookie tight end (10). He also broke the rookie barrier and led the league in fantasy points for the second half of the 2023 season. A year of pro experience will only benefit him in 2024, and he's the centerpiece of the league's most explosive offense. See other top TEs here.
