Harris, whose popularity has soared in the polls since entering the presidential race in July, proposed similar policies while campaigning in Nevada this weekend.
“If I'm president, I will continue to fight for working American families, including raising the minimum wage and eliminating the tip tax for service and hospitality workers,” she said Saturday.
Trump complained that Harris was copying his policies out of political desperation and not following through on her campaign promises.
“Kamala Harris, whose 'honeymoon' period is over and she's beginning to lose ground in the polls, has simply copied my no-tip-tax policy,” he said.
“The difference is, she's not going to do it. She just wants it for political purposes! This was Trump's idea. She has no ideas, she can only steal them from me.”
A recent Telegraph poll showed the two candidates tied at 40% each in Nevada, a state that Trump narrowly won four years ago but lost in the general election.
Harris, a Republican, has struggled to find her groove in the presidential race since President Joe Biden ended his campaign in July and endorsed her as his successor.
He has given his new opponent various nicknames, including “Laughing Kamala,” “Crazy Kamala” and “Kamabra,” but none of them have stuck and he has been widely criticized, accusing him of deciding to become black for political gain.
A New York Times poll conducted from August 5 to 9 showed Harris leading by 4 points in the Rust Belt battleground states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.
