Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni supported the candidacy of Mateusz Morawiecki for the position of the head of the party of conservatives and reformists of Europe. Moravetsky, who participated in the event organized by Melony's party, gave him a gift – a copy of “The Lord of the Rings” with his dedication. This is a reference to their meeting last year.
“I decided to remind Georgia Meloni of our meeting in 2023 and give her a small gift. The fight against evil continues. We have many battles ahead of us, but we will defeat Mordor together,” wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on the X meeting portal. in February 2023, during which they can be seen talking to Meloni. In the background, on the wall, you can see a map of Middle-earth – the world from “The Lord of the Rings”.
The gift was a copy of this book, published in English. In his dedication, Moravetsky wrote: “Dear Dorjo, let's fight evil. Together. Light wins. We must defeat Mordor!”

Meloni anointed Morawiecki
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced in Rome on Sunday that she will step down as the next leader of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) party and support former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
The Party of European Conservatives and Reformists is a European political party with a right-wing orientation. These include, among others: PiS, the Italian Brothers of Giorgi Meloni, the Czech Civic Democratic Party and the Sweden Democrats. The partner party of EKR is the American Republican Party.
– We accept the application. I suspect that my friend Mateusz Morawiecki will also be among those who will nominate his candidacy, Meloni added.
He turned to Moravetsky in response to the applause and said: – This applause confirms that we support you in this war, that you are also fighting for us.

Previously, Morawiecki spoke at Meloni's party festival called Festa Atreju. He mentioned Dante's “Divine Comedy” and said: “Today Europe seems to have fallen into hell and lost its way.” There is a difficult road ahead, but together we will reach paradise.
Recalling the slogan of Donald Trump, he pointed to his mission to “make Europe great again”. “We need strong and courageous leaders like Georgia Meloni to start us on a new journey and rediscover the greatness of Europe, which is the heart of the world,” he said.
