Last night, Kiev was once again the target of a Russian drone attack. Thanks to the effective operation of anti-aircraft defenses, most of the threats were repulsed, but some damage was caused by falling debris.
A Russian kamikaze drone attack on Kiev was reported late Sunday night.
“Air defense operations have been activated. Kyiv has once again been attacked by enemy drones,” Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Ukraine's capital, wrote on social media.
On Monday morning, the Kiev city junta reported the results of the attack. As reported, cars and several buildings were damaged. So far, there is no information on casualties or injuries.

As Unian recalled, the Russians recently began using a new type of weapon, the Shahed attack drone equipped with shrapnel. This is a cannonball with a pin in the shape of a lead ball or dart.
After being thrown from the body, the dart flies in a conical shape up to a distance of 150-200 meters. “Their targets are people, not objects,” the portal emphasizes.
