One person has died and two others have been injured in an accident involving a bus in Slovakia. According to preliminary information, the bus collided with a passenger car, causing it to veer off the road and overturn. The incident is being investigated by police who remain at the scene. Traffic around Parnica village remains partially closed.
Slovak police in Žilina announced in the morning that “a serious traffic accident occurred on road II/583 in Parnica and we are conducting interventions.”
Around 5 a.m. on Wednesday, a bus collided with a car for unknown reasons near the village of Parnica in Slovakia. As a result of the accident, the bus overturned and ended its journey in a ditch on the side of the road.

After arriving at the scene, rescue teams provided medical assistance to the three injured people, who were taken to hospitals in Rudzomberok and Dolny Kubin.

Tvnovinky.sk reported that despite the quick intervention of rescue teams, one person could not be saved.
In addition to police, five firefighters were also at the scene. Parts of the road remain impassable. Police said, “Traffic control is in place and only one lane of traffic is allowed. Please follow the instructions of the police officer on the scene.''
