Adair celebrates talented inventor's 600th U.S. patent

(Nasdaq: ADEA), whose patented innovations shape semiconductor innovation and the way the world explores and experiences entertainment, today announced that Dr. Belgacem Haba, a renowned innovator in microelectronics packaging and integration technologies, was recently awarded his 600th U.S. patent, a milestone only the world's most prolific inventors can achieve. Notably, Dr. Haba is also currently listed as an inventor on over 350 pending patent applications worldwide, a number that is sure to grow as he continues to create new, high-quality inventions every year. This is something he has accomplished throughout his illustrious career with Adeia and its predecessor companies, where he has been listed as an inventor on nearly 1,000 patents worldwide. His groundbreaking innovations have not only improved upon existing technologies but have fundamentally shaped the evolution and future of semiconductor devices, and his latest research addresses key challenges in semiconductor packaging, thermal management and 3D integration.

In addition to his 25+ years at Adeia, Dr. Haba served as a senior staff member in Google's Data Center Platforms division, co-founded high-speed interconnect company SiliconPipe Inc., managed the advanced packaging R&D department at Rambus, and worked on laser applications in microelectronics at NEC Central Research Laboratories in Tokyo and the IBM Watson Research Center in New York.
With a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, two Masters of Science degrees and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Stanford University, Dr. Haba's academic foundation reflects the interdisciplinary approach of some of history's greatest inventors.
