Agoda has announced its top beach destinations in Asia ahead of International Beach Day, with Bali, Okinawa and Da Nang coming out on top.
SINGAPORE – Digital travel platform Agoda has released its top beach resort destinations in Asia ahead of International Beach Day on September 1. The list, based on accommodation searches made on Agoda in September and October, highlights the most popular coastal resort destinations, with the Indonesian island of Bali taking the top spot.
Bali's popularity continues to grow, with Agoda seeing an 11% increase in Bali-related accommodation searches compared to the same period last year. Other popular beach destinations in Asia include Okinawa, Japan, and Da Nang, Vietnam, both of which ranked in the top three.
Agoda's ranking showcases a diverse range of beach destinations catering to different tastes, from tranquil hideaways to lively beach parties. Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines each have two destinations in the top 10, highlighting their popularity among beach lovers.
“With monsoon season coming to an end across much of Asia, travellers are looking forward to sun, sand and sea.
