Rescuers in the Karkonosze mountains used a rope to rescue a hiker who suffered severe injuries after falling off the side of a cliff in Kosiol Wilki Stav. This is another gopro rescue operation in recent days. The mountains are very slippery.
The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon. The hiker slipped off the edge of Kotlo Wielki Stav near the ruins of Prince Henry’s shelter and fell about 300 meters, the Karkonoska GOPR group reports. GOPR reminds that in the last five days this is the eighth fall from a height in the Karkonosze mountains. On Sunday, a serious accident happened near Velky Šiszak. There, four hikers were walking along a red trail that had been closed for the winter, and they slipped and fell. Two of them were seriously injured.
