On Thursday, President Andrzej Duda, in an interview with wPolsce24 television, referred to the words of Volodymyr Zeenskiy regarding Karol Navrocki and the conditions set by the presidential candidate for Ukraine’s membership in NATO and the EU.
The President stressed that talks on exhuming the victims of the Volhynian massacre should be held calmly. – We all realize that this is a very difficult problem (…). Duda pointed out that the political environment in Ukraine is simply afraid of this topic.
He also admitted that he did not know why President Zelenskiy decided to speak so harshly to the Polish media. “If I were Volodymyr Zelensky, I would be more cautious here,” he added.

The president also advised him to be “more restrained” in his comments against Karol Navrocki, as Zelenskiy’s knowledge “is incomparable to President Zelenskiy.”
– Remember that Karol Nawrocki is the director of the Institute of National Memory. Therefore, he has a lot of knowledge and a lot of data and has certainly talked many times with experts on this subject. Karol Navrocki and Andrzej Duda were especially added here.

During his visit to Poland on Wednesday, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy was asked about President Karol Navrocki’s attitude towards Ukraine’s possible membership in the European Union and NATO.
The PiS-backed presidential candidate has repeatedly stressed that he cannot imagine Kiev’s presence in the alliance “until our problems are resolved.” By this Nawrocki meant, among other things, the exhumation of victims of Volhynian crimes. Zełenski responded to these words in a conversation with four Polish editorial offices: TVN24, Onet, “Rzeczpospolita” and “Krytka Polityczna”.
– If Ukraine is not a member of the EU or NATO and there is no security in Ukraine, Mr. Nawrocki should start training. Because it may turn out that we have to take up arms to defend Ukraine. Compatriots, said the President of Ukraine.
President Zelenskiy added: “If Ukraine is nowhere to be found, the risk[of war in Poland]will be very high.” – The Ukrainian leader pointed out that immediately after Ukraine, Russia will be located on the border with Poland, after which (edited by Navrocki) there will be no political competition, but a fight to the death.
