A Russian passenger plane caught fire after landing at Antalya airport in Turkey. All 89 passengers and 6 crew members were safely evacuated.
Airport Haber news service reported that the engine caught fire. A video shared on social media shows emergency units responding to the scene of the fire with flames and smoke from the plane's engine.
“The engine fire occurred after the landing of a Sukhoi Superjet 100 passenger plane belonging to the Russian company Azimuth Airlines at Antalya airport,” reads the video description on the X website.
According to this website, the plane arrived from the Russian resort of Sochi on the Black Sea coast.

According to the website of the Antalya airport, the plane of the Azimuth airline landed from Sochi at 18:25 local time.

The Turkish Ministry of Transport said that all 89 passengers and six crew members were safely evacuated from the plane.
The airport of Antalya Airport was suspended until 3:00 local time.
