Apple's (AAPL) AI initiative (dubbed “Apple Intelligence”) is enabling the company to enter the fierce tech race by adopting and integrating artificial intelligence capabilities into its devices, but are there still risks to the strategy that has propelled the tech sector to new heights?
MoffettNathanson initiated coverage on the iPhone maker with a neutral rating and a price target of $211 per share. As of the posting of this video, Apple's stock price is currently trading above $226.
Clay Griffin, the MoffettNathanson research analyst behind the call, said Apple's relationship with consumers is “unique,” but that it's “difficult to really capitalize on the catalyst to upgrade to new hardware and price a subscription service at the same time.”
Griffin cited Google's (GOOG, GOOGL) search antitrust ruling as another headwind that Apple will eventually have to face.
