Armstrong Fluid Technology Appoints Andrew Harrop as Global Director
Armstrong Fluid Technology has announced the appointment of Andrew (Andy) Harrop as global director of regional sales enablement centers.
In his new role, Harrop will oversee all of Armstrong's regional sales enablement centers around the world.
His responsibilities will include leading sales programs and learning initiatives for both the internal sales force and external sales partners and channels, Armstrong Fluid Technology reported.
Mr. Harrop has been with Armstrong since 2011 and has contributed to various sales and engineering teams around the world.
His work focuses on developing solutions tailored to his clients' needs.
“Andy was the driving force behind building our regional sales enablement structure,” said Mike Fisher, global commercial director, business building at Armstrong.
Harrop's extensive experience in a variety of fields
Prior to joining Armstrong, Andrew Harrop had an extensive career spanning multiple sectors including petrochemical, HVAC, MEP and fire protection.
His roles within these industries are known for his significant influence, particularly in systems design, installation and process engineering.
Harrop's technical expertise is underpinned by a First Class Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bolton.
He is also a Chartered Engineer and a member of both the Institution of British Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the British Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).
