Tejay Halkias, star of Australia's Big Brother reboot on Channel 7 in 2022, will appear as an intruder in the new season of Married at First Sight. The former Big Brother contestant is currently filming a wedding in Sydney's CBD and was photographed arriving early today amid protests in the city.
Yahoo Lifestyle understands that “Married At First Sight” is facing a record number of snubs this year after six cast members dropped out two weeks into production.

What happened to Teejay on Big Brother?
Teejay is used to being the intruder – he broke into the Big Brother house midway through season 15 and quickly hit it off with Ali Wilcoxson – but another contestant, Bella Somers, revealed that she used to date Teejay and they'd kept in contact, saying that Teejay would message her as soon as he left the house.

While Tjay said he only reached out to Bella to apologize for taking his relationship with Ali further, an insider spilled to So Dramatic that Ali learned that Tjay had spoken to not only Bella, but also her mother and sister, and had referred to their relationship as a “situationship.”
Will Teejay be less bothered by being a married man? Only time will tell!

At this time, it is unknown if a suitable replacement for Lauren has been found, and she will likely rejoin the experiment as an intruder.
Following Elliot and Lauren's abrupt withdrawal from the experiment, Yahoo Lifestyle understands that two more couples dropped out during the first commitment ceremony, despite producers “trying everything possible” to persuade them to stay.
