Michigan State University has named Patrick Ransdell as its director of athletics, citing his experience in fundraising and attendance.
Missouri State University announced Aug. 28 that it had selected Patrick Ransdell as its new athletic director, highlighting his experience in fundraising and filling seats. The recommendation of new MSU President Richard “Biff” Williams was approved by the Board of Trustees during a special meeting. Former athletic director Kyle Moats, who served in the position for 15 years, announced in June that he was taking a similar position at Eastern Kentucky University. The Big 12 Conference's TCU Horned Frogs will open the season with a trip to the West Coast against the Stanford Cardinal, a new transfer from the ACC. (WAVE) – A wrong-way driving accident prevention project in Kentucky has been in the works for several years and is close to saving lives.The Wrong-Way Driving Prevention and Integrated Safety Technology system deters and detects wrong-way drivers on interstate highways.According to the Kentucky Department of Transportation, there have been 216 wrong-way driving accidents in the state since 2015, resulting in 69 deaths and 80 serious injuries.According to KYTC, there have been 13 wrong-way driving crashes across the state so far this year, resulting in six deaths and three serious injuries.Local drivers like Shay Poissonnier, who works at Harley…
